Who's Made It? Dogma is the latest from indie maestro Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats and Chasing Amy). Smith writes and directs, Scoot Mosier produces and the usual ensemble cast members turn up to perform.

What's The Plot? Affleck and Damon are Bartelby and Loki, exiled angels who see a chance to return to heavenly paradise. Unfortunately, their trip will cause the end of the world, so The Metatron (Rickman) is dispatched to persuade Christ's last remaining descendant (Fiorentino) to intervene. Also helping (or hindering) are stoner regulars Jay (Mewes) and Silent Bob (Smith).

Why Should You Be Excited? A Catholic Group has stirred trouble in the US, believing (not having seen a frame) that this is the Devil's work. Okay, so the angels go on a killing spree and Chris Rock is the black 13th apostle. But as Smith- a Catholic- has pointed out, its target is organised religion, not God (played here by Alanis Morrisette).
