Comedian Chris Rock, who plays the 13th Apostle in the upcoming film Dogma, describes the Kevin Smith comedy as a combination of Star Wars, The Ten Commandments, and Romeo and Juliet. Dogma follows angels Matt Damon and Ben Afflecks efforts to re-enter heaven by way of New Jersey. This lighthearted approach to religion has garnered a degree of pre-release criticism from some religious groups. Anyone who judges something they havent seen is an idiot, Rock says. I dont talk about anything I havent seen. History tells us that anyone that talks about something they havent seen, or heard, read is an idiot.
