I thought it was a bit too ambitious. I don't fault Kevin for it, but it seemed like he was trying to do too much at once. The first 30 minutes or so was one joke after another, and it felt like a VERY offbeat comedy. Then it became a road/action movie, and it sort of fucked the pacing up. As a result, it didn't exactly flow very fluidly. It wasn't as harsh of a stylistic change as the 1st half and 2nd half of 'From Dusk Till Dawn', but I did feel like the film suffered from multiple personalities.

I was, however, thoroughly impressed with how everything tied together, mainly how Jason Lee factored into the plan. It really was a genius concept.
