Tour Six Steals Mewes ~

Well, NO ~ not really. Our tour wasn't full (which I thought was kinda weird). O'Halloran just got on the bus and he was drinking a Dr. Pepper (apparently his fave). I asked him if it was a Dr. Thunder. I explained that it's the Wal-Mart version of DP. Anyway ~ after that moment I became the Wal- Mart Girl (and No I don't work there. Not that there's anything wrong with that). Ha ha. Jay got on the bus and went strait to the back with his juice boxes. Kevin and Chris (friends we met on-line and on line) went back to hang with him. Then Kevin or Jay called me to the back of the bus. So I go and hang out with 'em (I'm no dummy).

When we got to Victory Park we all got off and chatted for a few. Mewes and O'Halloran graciously posed for some pics and signed some swag. When we got back on the bus Johanna, Jill and Sydney came to hang in the back too. There was some talk of 'herbal refreshment' but that didn't happen. Then MEWES MADE THE SUGGESTION that we hit the bar next to the Quick Stop. Imagine that. So Jill and I go to the quick stop with all the other sheep to hear the filming stories. Syd and Johanna go to the bar for beer. Jay, Kevin and Chris go into RST. We get back on the bus and they all started drinking. I didn't, only cuz I don't like beer, and Jay called me LAME!! heee heee ~ I was crackin' up. He was like ~ "C'mon you were all cool and silly 'n shit and wearin' them silly glasses 'n now yer not gonna have a beer. Yer lame." So I laughed at him and continued to be silly ~ that was that. So then O'Halloran sees that the back of the bus is having a mini-kegger and we give him a beer. By the time we got back to the Stash, Jay didn't want to hang around cuz he didn't want to stop drinking, cuz he'd get tired or some shit. I dunno what that's like (and I'm LAME for not drinking beer.) So Johanna, Kevin, Chris and I decide we're gonna hit the Stash. See the peeps. Purchase some swag and so on.

Jill and Syd took Jay out to have a few drinks and bought him dinner.

So we're on line waiting to get into the Stash. O'Halloran and Bryan Johnson come out asking "Where's the girl that absconded Mewes?" They stop O'Halloran zero's me out of the crowd ~ haha ~ gotta love it. There's the Wal-Mart Girl. I told them he left with my friends but he'd be back in a little bit. So long story short ~ we meet Miss Jennifer, give our congrats and good luck wishes with mommyhood and little Harley Quinn and we enter the Stash. We mull around the Stash, giggle and enjoy all the little things that we got to sneak a peek at. Johanna and I chat with Kevin and ask him to sign our swag (got some scribbles on my Silent Bob action figure 'Ang, Take me out and use me!! Kevin Smith' ha ha he's great!) We assure him that Mewes will be back. He laughs and says "So you're the ones who gave him beer" and signs Johanna's Clerks/Chasing Amy Script (dog~eared at all her favorite parts). We graciously thank him for the opportunity for us locals to hang out and actually look cool cuz we live in Jersey (heh heh), and also give the good luck wishes with daddyhood.

So Jill and Syd bring Mewes back. Everybody's happy (except tour 5 who didn't get to see him or so I've heard). We see the Dogma spoiler and leave....with Mewes in tow. He still wanted to party so he came back to the hotel to hang out but when we got to Kevin and Chris' room they were taking him home. He said he was gonna come back to hang with everybody. Maybe bring his girl if she wanted to chill too. The guys came back and we didn't see Mewes again after that. So we decide to go to the diner. Disco Fries. mmmmmm.

So that's my account of the weekend.

Chris and Brad we were across the hall from you and we never crossed paths. Next time! But I did manage to get rid of the 3am crew banging on their door. Bunch of savages in this town.

Again many thanks to Kevin, Jennifer and the Askew Crew (Ming, Kim, Bryan, Walt, Brian, Scott and Mewes) for being real and giving so much to your fans. It's what sets you apart from the rest ~ We love you for that. And thanks to the Event Crew too, I don't read comics but from what I hear you are the 'God's'.

As for the rest of you ~ Oralee, Kevin, Chris, Lenny (why couldn't Brim go to bed on Friday?), Brimley, Ryan, Julian (mmmm Altoids ~ thanks for a great night ~ wink wink), Andy, Edie (not eddie), Phil, John, Dan, AdRock, Afflected, and everybody else whose names escape me now ~ It was WONDERFUL to meet you all!!
