I came all the way from Halifax, Nova Scotia with my gay friend in tow (Jay). We arrived on Friday afternoon and spent the day exploring Red Bank...we even went to the Monmouth Mall. Of course we went into the Stash! Walt was the only one there...I saw him and said, "Walt?". He was like, "yeah" and I said, "I travelled a long way to be here." (Gawd, how stupid) Then a courier fellow came in the door so he was busy...we left soon after. I was overwhelmed and felt like such a moron.

Friday night - no one was around the hotel lobby so I talked Jay into going to the bar for a drink. I told him that if somebody sits down then sooner or later people would begin to show up. YAY, I was right! The first "boarder" I met was KiKi and her friend Seth, and it turned out that we were all in group 3. Many people made their way down to the lobby that night, including Brad and Chris but I didn't get a chance to talk to them for very long. The Marksman was there and also in my group.

Saturday - Drove to Red Bank with KiKi and Seth. We followed The Marksman and his friend, Philthy Phil, so we wouldn't get lost. On the way there(we left early so we could get parking) it was decided that we'd have a drink. After all, we WERE on VACATION. We ended up across the street at Murphy's and had a couple. Mind eraser, anyone? Personally, I was glad to have a few before going into the Stash. See, if I was completely sober I wouldn't have been so friendly with Kevin. I would have been shy and really quiet. Instead, I walked right up to him and gushed. He said, "Where's THAT accent from?" (haha) I had my camera in my bag and wasn't planning on using it but I couln't resist and asked him if I could get a picture. He said "Sure!". Kevin was so incredably nice and personable. I was in the middle of talking to him, looked right beside me and there was Brian O. I immediately said, "Dante?". Then Jason showed up and began to stuff pizza in his mouth. More pictures! The Stash was so cool inside but I was so starstruck...I barely noticed. Trailers in one word: wicked! It was almost time to get on the bus but a few of us were talking to "Rick" and "Cohee", so we ended up getting seats at the back. The first stop was the Park and only about 10 of us got out to take pictures. I didn't even know that Jason was with us until we were walking back and he was there having a smoke. This excited me! Not for long though, he slept through our entire tour. Although there has been some other comments made about the crowd I was hanging with, I think we developed a very fun repoire with Brian O. My higlight: When Brian asked the guys on the bus, "Caitlan or Veronica?" barely anyone answered (that's what you get with undersexed fanboys!). So then he asked, "Ladies, Jay or Silent Bob?". How could I resist? I yelled, "BOTH. At the same time!" Jay actually woke up and Brian asked him what he wanted to say to that. He mumbled something that sounded like, "I want to pull her hair" YEAH! At one point during the tour I got "freaked out". It was so surreal. Watching CLERKS, hearing Dante's voice, AND looking out the window at the scene. Trippy! After the tour, we hung out for a short while and then went back to the Marriott, where a few had some hottub action.

Saturday night - the party started in room 208 and moved to the lobby...you know already who was there! Damn, I wished we hadn't missed Vincent...I was looking forward to meeting him.

Sunday - left in the morning and spent the day (and night) in the Big Apple.

All in all, the trip was excellent. Count me in for the next event!
