Maybe a few more voices can flesh out the whole affair.

I had to come early and leave early unfortunately. I had other engagements. I got to the Stash at about 8 and had a hot chocolate at Starbuck's. At around 8:45, Jason pulled up in a car with his girlfriend. Man, that guy's got charisma or something :). The crowd that gathered around the Stash was positively electrified. Jason gave everyone a "What up!" and a huge yell went up. Pretty cool to watch. Anyway, I was in Group 2 but strangely, I think we were the first tour out. Brian and Brian (Johnson and O'Halloran) were on the bus. People have been raving about Brian O'Halloran's performance as tour guide and every bit of praise he gets is deserved. He was really working up there and kept a good patter going. On the way there, Brian told everyone that he and Jeff Anderson were going to be providing the actual voices to the Clerks cartoon which was news to me (but I might have missed the news somewhere else). It's awesome that Brian's going to get even more work from Clerks. We got out at the playground where Brian gave us the lowdown on Vulgar. We rolled past Posten's (a tour bus full of laughing Gen-Xers passing a funeral :)), the exterior of Ed Hapstak's house (Dante's exterior house in Clerks), and the Quik Stop. As the pics show, Brian jumped up onto the product shelves and gave all sorts of interesting stories about filming. My personal Jersey moment was fulfilled when a woman, not unlike the Dental-School renting customer Randall torments in Clerks walked into the Quik Stop, takes one look at the 50 kids and Brian up on the shelf and says to me in a very heavy Jersey accent: "Are they open or what?". Maybe it was funnier in person. Anyway, the bus headed back to the Stash (along the Dante-Randal "My Cousin Walter" conversation route). Stash Time was cool, I got to buy some swag from Walter at the register (a year-long ambition I've had :)) and generally just wander around. Unfortunately, I had to leave before the trailers were shown (the ABC-cut version of 'Rats was playing on the tube most of the time I was there), and I only got to see Kevin once and didn't get to meet him but it was cool nonetheless. A very special mad prop should go to Jennifer who was clearly saving the whole thing from falling into disorganization. She was incredibly nice and even told me about the trailer as I was heading out. Anyway, the whole day was great and even my non-Askew oriented girlfriend had a good time. Thanks to everyone involved (including fanboys) for creating a unique event and memories that'll last a while!
