- This weekend’s Ebert & Roeper at the Movies is playing in syndication. The pair review “Jersey Girl” and come up with a split decision. Ebert (normally the more accurate of the two, in our opinion) gives the film a thumbs-up! We’ll let you know when his print review becomes available. Also, TV ads for the film are starting to include critical praise from various outlets.
- The AFI theater is packing them in for Clerks all this week, where it’s screening at 9:40. Ah, too bad we couldn’t make it in for that one, sounds like a fine time. If you’re in the area, be sure to take in a showing. It plays thru Thursday.
- Radio station G105 (105.1) in Raleigh, NC will be giving away tickets to Kevin’s upcoming appearance in Greenville, NC all week long. At least one pair per day will be given away during the afternoon drive show (b/t 3-7pm), probably right around 5 PM. Good luck!
- Kevin’s showing up on standups across the country now, it seems, to promote Jersey Girl in conjunction with Panasonic. Here’s a photo that a reader sent us from Fry’s Electronics in Phoenix, Arizona.
