- Jeff and Brian wrapped up their extensive publicity for Clerks II (and seriously, AMAZING job guys) with a stop at XM satellite radio’s Opie & Anthony show on Friday. We’ve got the full edited clippage thanks to our pal Will just ahead. Here’s what Anthony himself had to say about the appearance:
The FM radio portion of the show was a lot of fun but the XM satellite show from 9-11 was a fucking blast. They fell right in with the show and were really good on the air. They hung for about 4 hours! Just goofing on the news, taking calls and talking about the movie.
Having Kevin, Jason, Brian and Jeff in this week has been a highlight of my radio career. I’ve loved Kevins films since seeing Clerks after a friend told me “You gotta see this fucking movie!†and popped the ol’ video tape into the VCR. So, to be able to hang out and laugh my ass off with these guys is a dream come true.
Best of luck to all the guys. I hope the film kills. They all deserve the best.
