  • Wanna read today's update? Click HERE TO DECODE IT!!! Hey folks, and welcome to today's News Askew April Fool's update. This has become a tradition of sorts around here and, most times, we end up getting a lot of folks fooled. Check the archives under April 1st dates and you'll see some fun examples. This year, with the talkbacks, it should be even more fun. If you're reading this, you've likely figured out that the link at the top of the page has taken you to a page where you can decode the update using the correct key combination, which shouldn't be too tough to figure out. It's a very, very simple puzzle, which we could have made tougher, but hoped that the link at the top helped some of you. We ask that if you HAVE figured this out, don't give the secret away in the Talkbacks. Sit back, have fun, and watch the others wrestle with the puzzle! We'll reveal all tomorrow. Oh and one last thing: If you went through and did this letter by letter to read it, we're really, really sorry. Sorta. Hehehe...

  • The April issue of Wizard features an article on page 30 about Kevin buying the rights to the name Namor: the Submariner for $20 because Marvel didn't renew them. No idea what this means, or if it's part of an April fools joke for the month, but hey, if so, it's appropriate for this update!

  • X-Entertainment starts off its article with the question from Brodie to Stan Lee about Mr Fantastic. ("Do you think Mr. Fantastic can stretch his dinky, also?" ) Also, they give thanks to Kevin Smith for bringing up the question of superheroes' sex lives, which the article's about.

  • Shannon Elizabeth was Babe of the Day yet again at IGN yesterday, along with a nice mention of J&SBSB...IGN's always cool about that.

  • Here's something amusing...A Ska-punk band called "Randall Grave." I think the leaving off of the 's' at the end of Graves can be forgiven, due to the fact that they're from Brazil. You can visit their site HERE. The cover to their demo tape even features Dante and Randall in the Quick Stop!

  • Clerks will be playing at the famous Alamo Drafthouse, in Austin TX, April 12-14 at Midnight each night. More info can be had at drafthouse.com.
