- Our resident graphics guru, Steve Rettinger, has really outdone himself this time. We are now proud to present the Dancing Silent Bob Mouse Cursor for Windows! This is a real beauty folks, and a must download. The cursor’s so small it’s not worth posting a pic, but we’ve taken it and added it to a zip file along with the dancing jay (see below) as well. You can get the file, containing both cursors, right here. It’ll take seconds to download at any speed. Steve also hopes to do some cleanup work on the dancing Jay cursor to make it appear as clean and sharp as the Bob. Steve, you’re good.

Dogma On Dark Horizons…
- The guy who runs the Dark Horizons website (which contains the latest film rumors) made this entry:
Direct Link To View Askew WWWBoard Available…
- The CURRENT View Askew WWWBoard can now be accessed directly through one simple address, which is http://www.viewaskew.com/wwwboard/index.html. You’ll want to bookmark this. This will allow you to go directly to the latest WWWBoard without accessing the main View Askew page first (As well as allow us to link to the board easier in our news stories). Remember, the previous boards will still be available, as always. Use THE LAST BOARD link at the top or the WWWBoard Search to access the previous ones.
Problems Askew…
- As we write this update, www.viewaskew.com is down once again. We’re not sure if it’s a net problem or if they’re in the process of doing those major website upgrades we’ve been hearing about. More details here on this site (Which WILL be online!) as soon as we know, as always.
More On Pix Posters…
- Smalls wrote to let us know that he had the chance to visit a smaller outlet of Pix Posters at Syracuse University. Apparently they have some satellite shops here and there. So if any of you know where any of their locations are or have visited any, let us know what you find! You might be surprised…
New Dogma Rumors Webpage…
- Alright, so it’s a little competition for us, but we’ve always been big fans of Corona’s Movie Rumors WebPage, and they’ve just added a new section on Dogma. Most of their info looks to be coming from here or the View Askew WWWBoard (Including some really big spoilers that we decided not to read or post, so be warned!). Anyway, expect some of the more juicy and revealing Dogma updates on their page, so if you’re interested, it’s worth a look now and then for sure.
This And That…
- The CURRENT View Askew WWWBoard can now be accessed directly through one simple address, which is http://www.viewaskew.com/wwwboard/index.html. You’ll want to bookmark this. This will allow you to go directly to the latest WWWBoard.
- We hope to have some Big Helium Dog information for you VERY soon, in lieu of the website’s disappearance. I’m in the process of trying to set up a chat with the director, Brian Lynch. Sounds like everything’s fine with the flick. Check back with us for all the dirt, coming soon!
Pix Posters Update…
- Our pal Garett sent us an update as to what’s going on with new items (and a certain item that’s now no longer available…hehehe) from Pix Poster Cellar, the place we made practically famous over the past few weeks. In fact, why should I paraphrase? He says it all…
2. They have available the Kev’s complete first draft script of “The Six Million Dollar Man”.
3. They will never be selling the Superman Lives script. Apparently, Warner Bros. found out and sent a cease and desist letter to them.
4. Coming soon: Smith’s Overnight Delivery script.
There ya have it! The Mallrats kit sounds like a really nice deal, and we’ve reported on the Six Million Dollar Man script before. Also, I had heard elsewhere that the Overnight Delivery script was already available, so that’s some mixed info there. Let us know if anyone can confirm or deny that one. As for that other little script, there, well, I guess we’ll just hafta burn our copies now so Warner Bros. doesn’t come looking for us…Psssht. Congrats to those of you that also managed to snag one in time.
Thanks To Our Scoopers!
- Practically all of today’s news comes from scoops we received via e-mail, so thanks so much to all of you who chipped in today. Not only do you make our jobs easier, but you also allow us to get the news out to the masses much faster than digging for it ourselves. Kudos to you all. Here we go…
John Pierson Cinemania Tour!
- Saw this post from Jason Charnick on the WWWBoard and thought we’d share the info with you, since Pierson’s had some good relations with Kev and View Askew in the past:
I do have the disc, and I will. By the way, if you weren’t aware, John is scheduled to appear on the Chasing Amy laserdisc commentary (He served as the film’s executive producer).
