  • We’re not sure of the legality of this, and we think it’s kind of unfortunate, but it was bound to happen — eBay’s got someone selling bootlegs of all six episodes of the Clerks cartoon series — The problem’s not so much that they’re getting around, which is a testament to the fans who want to see the shows so much, but it’s a shame that someone has taken everyone’s hard work and is now making profits on it.

At any rate, the DVD that comes out late this year will have tons more than just the shows, so it’ll be a worthy purchase and worth the wait, so it’s not like the tape’s gonna hurt sales of the disc, it really is just sad that there’s an individual out there making profit off of Kevin & everyone else’s hard work at View Askew.

  • In case ya missed it the first time around, we’re happy to report that Kevin’s Law & Order appearance will re-air on Monday, July 24th. Be sure and catch it this time!
  • Kevin was spotted shooting video & stills in the Stash yesterday morning, thus the store was closed. We assume this was for the Sci-Fi Exposure special, but we’re sure Kevin will be around soon enough with a report.
  • Yesterday’s most popular submission: Dogma was the answer (well, the question anyway) to the question “This 1999 Kevin Smith film didn’t follow Christianity to the letter” on Jeopardy last evening. The well-rounded champion quickly buzzed in with the correct response.
  • Here’s a link to a Fletch Won fanpage that seems like it’s going to cover the flick and all other things Fletch. They don’t have a direct link to News Askew there, though…Shame on them!
  • Those of you who’d like to see a few stills from Jay Mewes’ appearance on The Late Late Show a couple months back can find some shots at the Foo Fighters’ website HERE.
