• The Chasing Amy DVD continues to sell quite well, it’s in Amazon‘s top 10 sales list this week. The new release of the VHS is also selling quite well. Just goes to show ya, there’s a lot of fans of that flick out there. A new review of the flick is also now online at the Comic Book Resources web site.

• Thanks to the many of you (too numerous to even list in the scoopage area) to let us know that Kevin confirmed his involvement with the “Exposure” project on George Lucas over at Sci-Fi. In fact, Kevin’s recording his segments at the Stash next week. He will indeed host the entire special, which sounds like a great one. We’re expecting some press contact and perhaps even an advanced look at the show here at NA, but we’ve gotten an inside contact who’s been kind enough to supply us with ALL the details on this must-see program:

• Here’s some perty cool news…Jay Mewes has signed to appear at Wizard World in Chicago, where Kevin is also scheduled to show! We’ve got no details on which days the two will be there, if any panels are setup, or where they’ll sign (if they’ll even sign together, which is likely but not definite). Keep an eye here for more info on Wizard World as we can dig it up.

• Kevin’s a hot item of discussion over at the Hollywood Stock Exchange online game now, due to the upcoming Fletch and View Askew 5 projects. Here’s a story (in RealAudio format) that discusses their recommendations for the stock, though we hear it tells folks to actually SELL their stock in some of the stuff. Hmmm.
• The writer of transmetropolitan (Warren Ellis) makes a very small crack/criticism at Kevin right towards the bottom of his essay, found HERE.

• Finally today, we’re not sure what View Askew 5 is gonna be called, but we like the simplicy of this fan-made teaser poster concept, for sure. Enjoy.

• The “A Better Place” hoopla is heating up with a pleasant surprise, a brand new SOUNDTRACK for the film from Gig Records! Way cool. Here’s Vincent himself with the info:

• Rumor has it that Kevin’s involved in a new special for the Sci-Fi Channel on George Lucas, featuring a few Lucas-related shorts (including THX 1138’s short original version), and more. We hear that Kevin may be conducting some interviews and introducing the shorts, which would be great, though we’ve yet to verify this.
• IFC’s gonna be showing their Clerks Special Edition again later this month, on the 27th of July to be exact. Those of you who still don’t own the DVD or laserdisc copies of the film can watch IFC and catch the commentary, deleted scenes, and other extras. Tune in.
• Cameron Crowe‘s new flick has been titled (we’re sorry to say) “The Uncool”. We were still hoping for “Stillwater”, which just seems to have that 70’s feel to it, but it looks like it’s not gonna happen. The film’s bound to bring even more notice for Jason Lee, and is set to make its public debut at the Toronto Film Festival this September.
• Those of you looking for an actual paper copy of “Fletch Won” or any other Fletch books might be happy to know that Amazon’s UK site (amazon.co.uk) is selling them.
• Wanna catch all four of Kev’s flicks at the San Diego Comicon this year? Here’s the final schedule:

• DOGMA will be shown in this year’s Jerusalem Film Festival in Israel on the 17th and 18th of July.
• Matt Damon will appear on Jay Leno tonight at 11:30PM EST, perhaps to plug “Titan A.E.”
• Another Chasing Amy DVD review has popped up online courtesy of DVD Verdict. Wow, lots of people weighing in on this disc. Anyway, if ya wanna keep track of what everyone’s saying, be sure to check it out.

• Happy ID4 folks…Heheh…Remember when that was the talk of theaters a few years back? Anyway, looks like we’ve got a very rare holiday update for ya today…Traditionally we take days off at times like this, but there’s a couple hours before I’m off to the family picnic, so it seemed like a good time to get caught up on a few things.
