• With the director of the brilliant “Donnie Darko” attached as well as a ton of View Askew alumni (including Kevin himself), “Southland Tales” sure sounds
  like an interesting project for this year. Stars of the film now include Kevin, Jason Lee, Janeane Garofalo, Sean William Scott and Ali Larter. How’s
  THAT for a Jay & Bob reunion? “Southland Tales” is described as “A musical/comedy set in 2008 where a three-day heatwave in Los Angeles culminates in a
  huge Fourth of July party.”

• “Drop Dead Roses”, a hilarious film starring Brian O’Halloran, can now be brought into your home for the first time! This hard to find
  indie flick from writer/director Jessica Hudson is now available on DVD today here in the USA. You can grab your copies from almost any online DVD shops
  or rent it from your local Blockbuster video. Don’t miss this chance to catch Brian working his magic in another feature film.

• Kevin appears on the Troma Coming Distractions DVD, a collection of 71 Troma Trailers. On one fo the special features, in a short about
  Troma Video, he’s listed as a filmmaker who was a fan of or inspired by Troma. Others listed include Quentin Tarantino and Peter Jackson. They also show
  a picture of Kevin with Troma president and co-founder Lloyd Kaufman, which sounds like something we may have run here previously.
• Burgan’s Curtain Jerkers #5 is a comic-style take on wrestling behind-the-scenes
  situations, using Clerks as a backdrop.
• Askew vet Shannon Elizabeth appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, now NOT so live (an hour tape delay) due to all the FCC crap lately.
