Director’s “secret stash†a big hit with fans
(Dec. 21) — Very few people can rally stoners and average Joes to roll out of bed and stand in a long line. Unless, of course, it’s one of their own.
Director/writer/producer Kevin Smith, known for hit indie movies like ‘Dogma’ and ‘Clerks’ was in his store yesterday to sign “The Westwood Exclusive Action Figure†(of himself) for hard-core fans. Oh yes, the action figure is only available at the Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash store in Westwood, Calif., and TMZ went down to check out all the commotion.
The ever-entertaining Smith talked to us about his upcoming movie ‘Catch and Release,’ which stars himself and pal Ben Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Garner. And yes, we asked about Bennifer’s new baby.
