- The Clerks II release date is moving?!?! Wha!??! We’re pretty good at reading between the lines Kevin drops, though Kevin makes it easy to read between, we must admit. But a recent post, announcing the release date of Sam Jackson flick “Snakes on a Plane”, seems to have stirred discussion and a post from the man himself indiciating that Clerks II won’t be hitting screens on that day — Meaning we’re MOVING! Will it be up? Stay tuned, and in the meantime, watch Kevin’s thread and News Askew.

Where’s The Beef!??!
- Wanna read some sample pages of “Where’s the Beef?!?!” – the “Clerks II” comic that reveals how Dante and Randal went from working at Quick Stop to flipping burger at Mooby’s? Kevin’s been kind enough to post some scripts from the comic, which will be available exclusively in the summer released book collecting ALL the View Askew comics into a nice hardback. Yes, you should have bought it anyway. But now, with this exclusive comic, you MUST OWN IT. No question about it. You can read Kevin’s Myspace Blog for the whole deal, but…in the meantime…Let’s just preview you Panel Five for now…

DANTEThen again, what am I thinking? Im talking to the man whose biggest concern is whether or not some new Batman movie is gonna kick as much ass as the old one.
RANDAL
Oh, like youre not anticipating it at least a little bit?
DANTE
The only reason I even know theres gonna be another Batman flick is because you spent most of last week gushing about it.
RANDAL
Play it cool all you want, but Im not the total mo who used to dress up in a leather trench coat and cruise around in a shit-box Plymouth he called The Bat-Mobile.
We thank Kevin for sharing with us, and can’t wait to see the final product. It’s been a while since a new View Askew comic hit, so this one’s highly anticipated by these webmasters.
