- Did you miss Kevin’s appearance on Bill Maher late last week? Watch him crack up the room as part of the panel on Real Time’s 3rd episode of the season, in the “Overtime” segment.
- You’ve seen it in print on twitter, now HEAR Kevin mix it up with Megan Phelps courtesy 96.5 The Buzz radio.
- SMonologue #9, “The Keys are the Key”, is live at the Silent Bob Speaks blog site, where Kevin presents a Twitterer with some inspiration to keep on writing. Here’s a snippet:
Film? I’m living proof that even chimps can make cinema if there’s enough talent to back it up; and the talent is never in the individual anyway, it’s in the group effort of many filmmakers – cast and crew – aiding the one in telling his or her story. I love film; it has given me everything I have today. But even filmmaking is not playing God.
Only writing ñ amongst not only all the arts, but amongst all of humanity’s waking endeavors ñ allows we mere mortals a true taste of all-encompassing creation along the lines of that which God (or a god; or a god-like energy from which the universe sprang) knew or knows.

Last, but certainly NOT least — The entire rundown of FIFTEEN STOPS for “Red State”, the only US tour dates where you can see the movie AND Kevin live before and after, available for immediate purchase over at http://www.coopersdell.com. Traditionally, lots of folks wait until just before the events to buy, so we’re highly urging you not to assume these will be available — If you want to be there, secure your seats today. Don’t wait and have the date you’re looking at sell out on you. These are not all super-sized venues, so seats are limited.
There ya have it, folks — Plenty of chances to catch Kevin and crew live this Spring — Be there.
SModcast SMews…
- When he’s not talking “Red State”, he’s making more plans for the ever-expanding SModcast network. In fact, we’re now hearing that the network will grow even larger in May. Additions will include what Kevin is calling “an awesome new show for film fans” and other new additions this Spring. More on that later. For now, what’s new on the network this week? Read on:
- “Plus One” goes to Episode #11, “The King of all SMedia”, where Kevin addresses the last few days of tweets including his thoughts on last week’s Howard Stern situation.
- “Jay & Bob Get Old” with Episode #21, “Baby It’s Mewes”, now available as part of the new schedule.
- “Hollywood Babble On” logs Episode #22, recorded live with Kevin and Ralph. See them record it live every Saturday at Universal Citywalk.
- Speaking of, the first “Plus One” shirt will be going into retirement very soon. Get it before it’s gone for good. Rumor is it that the next shirt from the Plus One line will be “The Fishies Have No Eyes”. For now, grab what’s sure to be a collector’s edition from the SModcast store.
- A brand new SModcast (#156), “The Last Tribe of the Caine-inites”, is also now live at the SModcast site.
- SModimation #12, “Rocket to the Stars” brings another 4 minutes of video hilarity where Mosier dishes on meeting his wife. Don’t miss it, courtesy SModcast and Stark Toons, at the official SModimations site – Genius. Don’t miss the hilarious clippage at Babble On’s Citywalk ticket site as well. Watch and hear Ralph Garman’s brilliant Harrison Ford impression.
Don’t forget — If you’re confused on the show releases and recording dates, the schedule has changed. The current show rundown always appears right on the beautiful SModcast home page.
