- Alan Ball’s “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress†isn’t a new play; it’s one he wrote pre-â€American Beauty†and “Six Feet Under.†We’ve also received word from Marilyn that the play, announced yesterday, has been postponed but NOT cancelled. She’ll be providing us with details as soon as they’re available.
