- This one slipped by us somehow, but we thought you’d want to know anyway, that Kevin recently (2 days ago) completed work on the first draft of “Jersey Girlâ€! It won’t be long now before Affleck, Carlin, and the rest of the yet undetermined cast will be in front of the cameras. Here’s Kevin with the official announcement:
At 10:09p.m., Pacific time…
…I finished my first draft of “Jersey Girl.â€
And holy shit, do I love it. It’s, hands-down, the best thing I’ve ever written.
All 160 pages of it.
And, mind you, I shrink my shit down to 80%, so I can fit more text on the page.
Needless to say, the flick will never be as long as it is now.
But, fuck – it’s done.
Who ever said you couldn’t be productive in Los Angeles?
Kevin estimates we’ll likely see something up on the screen a year or so from now, but don’t quote anyone on that.
