- Psycomic writer Gabe Soria just mentioned in his latest Psycomic column that the site is going under. He and all the other writers for the site were just “given their walking papersâ€:
Well, it finally happened. Psycomic has officially become the punchline to a joke (before today we were just the unofficial punchline to a host of jokes, especially on that there Warren Ellis message board on Delphi). What’s all the ha-ha about? Well… Joe D., Al Tran, Psycomic’s columnists, our freelancers and yours truly have been given their walking papers. Yup, we are now a “dead dot com.â€
We’re not sure of the future of the “Developing The Monkey†column that Kevin has been writing for the site, but we assume there’s a couple possibilities: (1) Another site may pick up the column and continue it, employing Kevin and paying him for his work, (2) Kevin may continue the column at the View Askew site or here at News Askew, (3) Kevin will not write official columns, but instead just use the View Askew WWWBoard to keep us informed on the flick. As soon as we know, you’ll know.
