- After running into problems the previous two attempts that causes canellations, Kevin’s making good on his promise this Fall to return to Kansas for one of his famous Q&A public appearances. Here’s the details:
EMPORIA — ‘Dogma’ director to speak at ESU — Kevin Smith, director ofâ€Mall Rats,†“Clerks,†“Chasing Amy†and “Dogma,†will speak about themovie business this fall at Emporia State University.
The event, “Kevin Smith: When Silent Bob Speaks,†is expected to draw alarge crowd, event organizers said. Leslie Nigro, spokeswoman for theevent, said it may need to be moved to a bigger place. Currently it isscheduled for 8 p.m. Nov. 7 in Albert Taylor Hall, Emporia State campus.Ticket information will be announced at a later date.
As always, you can’t go wrong with a Kevin appearance. We’re sure there will be some classic stories told as well as some new stuff, as it’s been a while since one of these has happened. We’ll of course have all the information you need on getting tickets right here as soon as details are announced. You’ve got a couple months to plan, though.
