- Alright, back stateside with a brand new update, and some fun news at that! By the way, a few fun facts about Canada that you probably wouldn’t know unless you’ve been there, or have Canadian friends:
The Canadians LOVE their donuts, perhaps even more than police officers. There’s a chain called Tim Hortons that I swear has an operation every 50 feet by law. I couldn’t help but wonder if there were places in Canada where you could stand at one Tim Hortons and visibly see another one.
You can swear all you want on the radio; they don’t censor expletives out of anything that gets airplay.
The CN Tower in downtown Toronto is the largest free-standing structure in North America.
Sleeman (beer) tastes as good out of the tap as it does from the bottle.
And finally…it’s not “bathroomâ€, it’s not “restroomâ€, it’s “WASHROOMâ€.
That being said, Canada’s a nice place to visit. And with the Toronto Film Festival coming up, it’s a pretty good time to get up there. Speaking of that (nice segue, huh?) there’s rumblings of yet another Kevin appearance up there next month, a new Rolling Stone interview that Kev helped with, and more in today’s edition of News Askew:
