- Brian Lynch resurfaced from wherever he hides when he goes off into the void for months on end, with some news on the status of “Big Helium Dog”, and the revelation that BHD 2, yes the SEQUEL, already exists in a first draft! Here’s the man himself:
Not that you don’t deserve it. Guys do a brilliant job (almost creepy in your big brother-like knowledge). BRAVO!
Just came from the big city (New York, not Red Bank) and saw BIG HELIUM DOG with some music and sound effects added. It’s like watching a whole new movie. And I can just play REALLY LOUD music over the jokes that I don’t think worked.
Kidding. I’m kidding.
Anyway, it’s shaping up rather well. Can’t wait for people to see it.
AND, I finished the way-too-long first draft of the sequel to BIG HELIUM DOG recently. I know, I know…getting ahead of myself and all, but what STAR WARS is to sci-fi and SCREAM is to slasher flicks, BIG HELIUM DOG is going to be to offensive cheesy low budget movies. I’m gonna give the world a trilogy it doesn’t want if it kills me.
TO HELL WITH A TRILOGY! Let’s go into the early teens! BIG HELIUM DOG 16: STILL BEATING A DEAD HORSE will sweep at the 2032 Oscars.

Although, twenty years from now, I hope to be working on BIG HELIUM DOG episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
