Hollywood hotdog Ben Affleck, the Star reports, had trouble making friends with vixen Shannen Doherty on the set of “Mall Rats.” It seems Shannen now regrets ignoring the romantic passes made by Ben, who at the time was a struggling actor. Now that Ben has made it big, Shannen wants him to make a guest appearance on her new sitcom, “Charmed.” Ben said charmed, I’m sure, but this dog won’t hunt.
- Yes, we saw the blurb running all over the place on MTV today…Alanis discussed Dogma and the fun she had tapping into her comical side with it. MTV also mentioned that Dogma will be released at Cannes and then in October 1999 following that. We wonder who their source was?
- Finally today, a quote from Kevin in the latest Movieline magazine, that we think we’ve heard before. It’s from an article where they asked folks what music they’d been listening to lately:
Kevin Smith (director, Chasing Amy): ” She’s Having a Baby is my favorite soundtrack of all time. Go figure- it’s real chick music that appeals to the yang in my yin, I guess. I just like it quite a bit.”
