It’s the Monday after Christmas (coincidentally the Monday before New Year’s Eve also). The shopping/exchanging aspect to the Holiday season has passed. But you forgot to get someone a present…

How about this: a mini View Askew Film Fest! Screenings of the three flicks that gave birth to this website, coupled with the non-fest unveiling of a pair of flicks you’ve heard tons about, but have yet to see (‘A Better Place’ and ‘Drawing Flies’). Throw in appearances by some Askew-luminaries and post-screening Q&A, a midnight birthday toast to the one and stinky…I mean ONLY Kim Loughran, and a t-shirt, and you’ve got an inkling of what we’ve got in the planning stages (for the low, low price of somewhere under fifty bucks).
Anyone interested?

Obviously, we’re so there. And (if this event happens) we’ll of course have another nice wrap-up of the happenings for those of you that CAN’T attend. From the sound of things on the board, there’s a TON of interest for this one. Just be sure to save us 2 tickets, guys. We’d appreciate it.
