• It’s a national holiday here at News Askew, as today’s marks the anniversary of the day the the dude that this whole site was created in honor of was brought onto this planet. In other words, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEVIN SMITH!!!

Kevin was born on this day back in 1970, and the world hasn’t been the same since. We’d like to personally thank Kevin for another interesting, exciting year, full of surprises (Kevin a supporting actor, directing a Degrassi feature), revelations (the Silent Bob Speaks blog), records broken (the marathon Red Bank Q&A), and GOOD NEWS (Clerks 2 in ‘06!).
