- We’ve officially received word via Ben’s people — The Daredevil sequel rumors are totally false. Nothing of the sort. Just one of those out of control stories that IMDB yet again ran with. Sigh. Will you guys ever learn?
- Here’s a list of the titles (rumored) of the Easter Eggs that will be found on the new Mallrats X DVD: “Stan The Man” – Stan Lee, ‘Jason Mewes – ‘Do I’”, ‘Jason Mewes – Dance’, ‘Jason Lee’. That’s all we know, folks.
- There’s a bonus CD available with the brand new Hootie & The Blowfish CD – “Looking For Lucky” – and in this bonus disc, there’s a track that talks about one of the songs that didn’t make the album, entitled “Ride Along”. Part of this track talks about the lead singer’s (Darius) input into the song:
“Ride Along was inspired by today’s media and it’s coverage of stars and their relationships. I think Darius fell in love with the story of the Jen and Ben affair that almost led to marriage. And Ben Affleck has been seen wearing a Hootie & The Blowfish t-shirt before, and I think he might be a fan, so Darius got his back in that song, and it’s pretty funny.”
- Folks are now using the ever-growing in popularity Podcasts to distribute their own commentaries for films on DVD. A group called “The Spoilers” have posted their Mallrats DVD commentary as their second release , in MP3 format (ipod-ready as well).
- Seems that strange “Matt and Ben” play, with the duo played by two chicks, is wrapping up in Cincinnati. Details on how to catch the show HERE.
