  • The UK poster for “Southland Tales” has hit the the web, and if you look closely, you’ll see Kevin in the bottom right-hand corner in full costume. Again, no word on how many minutes of screentime our guy’s got in this new, final cut, though we expect anything removed will be back for the eventual DVD.
  • Joblo.com is currently featuring the works of artist Justin Reed, who brings a unique visual style to his pieces based around film. Several of his works are displayed here, though the one we’re loving is of course the View Askew themed piece. Check it out by clicking the thumbnail. Of course, visit the full story for looks at more unique, beautiful stuff.
  • And finally today, a moment of silence for Stash Westwood — We’re told by a fan passing by that doors have indeed been locked for good, and the place is in the process of being packed up. BUT…We’ll leave you with this big news that dropped in the blog today:

…I spend an hour on the phone, talking to a voice from the past who has an interesting idea about keeping the Secret Stash open. I mobilize Bry and Ming and we head over to look at potential new digs for Secret Stash West, v.2. Even though Bry’s still moving on, we go over the pro’s and con’s of relocating and staying open, eventually settling on the pro side. Apparently, we might not be done out here after all.

So by mid-November, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash West will re-open in a different location, not too far from the original location (details to follow later).

Big, exciting news, west-coasters! We’ll of course keep you posted, and let you know where the new spot will be to pick up your favorite books, and of course all that sweet, sweet Askew swag.

No offense to your good selves but Kevin as Silent Bob appears in the lower-left portion of the UK poster of Southland Tales.

    Best Blessings,
