- There’s been quite a few questions on the boards lately about what’s going on with the “offshoot†projects of View Askew. Vincent was kind enough to post a summary about what’s been going on, and we think it’s both interesting and informative. Give it a read:
The fact is, Miramax has first look on ALL View Askew Productions- basically, that means they get the first option on distribution. They’ve already looked at “DRAWING much every day, and BHD director Brian Lynch stops by sometimes as well, so we tend to give out lots of info on the project.
Both films are progressing quite nicely through editing, I assure you. VULGAR finished it’s first cut last week, and came in at about 105-mintues or so- not bad for a first edit. BIG HELIUM DOG is about halfway through editing, and it’s running time for the first cut is working out to be almost exactly one page to one minute (the shooting script is 94 pages).
