Bullock Near ‘Nature’

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) – Sandra Bullock is in negotiations to star opposite Ben Affleck in the romantic comedy “Forces of Nature,” which is set to start production in June.
The DreamWorks project tells the story of a by-the-book Manhattanite (Affleck) who, while traveling to meet his fiancee, gets sidetracked by various forces of nature, including a hurricane, a plane crash and a free-spirited female traveler (Bullock), with whom he falls in love. The studio is still casting about for the role of the fiancee.
Bullock is currently working on “Practical Magic”, in which she co-stars with Nicole Kidman, Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing. It is expected to wrap at the beginning of May. She can next be seen onscreen in the April release “Hope Floats”.
