  • You can access tonight’s chat by pointing your IRC client to server irc.novatech.net:7000, then joining channel #newsaskew, or with your java-enabled web browser by clicking HERE.This takes you to the News Askew WWWBoard. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up. Then, just click the CHAT button at the top of the screen. Select any of the chats listed, they’ll all take you to the same place! Simple, right? Feel free to login early to get all the bugs worked out, and let us know if you’re having problems. Remember, you need a java browser to use the chat if you’re not doing it with IRC!

    We’ll be ready to field all of your questions about the Gala, Dogma, and just generally chat with everyone about everything Askew. The fun starts at 9:00 tonight, eastern time. See you there!

  • Howdy, all – Thanks for stopping by again for another fabulous week here at News Askew. We’ve got a lot going on, including the upcoming Stash Gala this weekend to cover, and of course that live chat that’s still happening Tuesday night at 9. By the way, due to an oversight on our part, we left a valid option out of this week’s poll topic. If you didn’t vote because of this, you can now select the new “Coming In Just For The Day” option if appropriate. Thanks! Sorry ’bout missing that one!

    Oh, and one more totally selfish request on our part: If anyone’s got “The Blair Witch Project” on VHS, could you possibly send us a copy??? We’re die-hard horror fans, and frankly, it’s tough reading how outstanding and frighit all worked out!!! We’re not in a group, so we doubt we’ll be on any of the tours (unless they tie us to the roof or something), but we plan to be hanging around the Stash during the day. We’ll let you know how to find us before we leave on the trek this weekend. And of course, we’ll be back with full coverage afterwards.
