In a surprise move, it was announced today that View Askew has just opened a new internet “wing†of the Stash, that’s selling rare items that you can’t get anywhere else, on an auction-like basis such as eBay. Thus, the site’s name, eJay.
So far, they’ve got the hard to find Mallrats book, rare signed Mallrats posters (Lee & Affleck autographs, anyone?), the German Chasing Amy poster, and a very rare Chasing Amy “Vogue†poster. Lots more items are sure to come, maybe even some props from the flicks. Ya never know. Here’s the word from the official site:
Yes – we are. Welcome to Auctions Askew (or `E-Jay`, as we affectionately call it, without stepping on any other company`s copyright). Here you`ll find cool, rare items that aren`t at the Stash site, upon which you can bid and step on one another`s necks to win!
I can hear some of you out there groaning. Or even worse – getting ready to post lengthy diatribes on the board about how this is the worst thing we’ve ever done since agreeing to make Nike commercials. But before you get all high and mighty, consider this: this isn’t about the feeding frenzy some of this stuff might provoke. We simply have limited quantities of cool stuff that we can`t post at the Stash site, as too many people may order them. So we decided to try this out, and give the serious, and discerning View Askew enthusiast a shot at owning some cool-ass swag that only the hardest of hardcore fans would want.
