- The 4 (!!) Disc Collector’s Edition DVD of the Project Greenlight HBO Series will be released on September 24th. Stolen Summer (the film that Pete Jones made during the doc) will also be released in September, although Disney is being more aloof about its release date. We don’t have any specifics yet, but FOUR discs should mean a TON of extras are on there. Please, more of Affleck’s Chris Moore impressions!
- Speaking of Affleck, got a lot of mail on this one — Film Threat is currently running a fun poll on their front page, asking folks what their favorite Affleck role was — Sadly, they missed his recent great Jay & Silent Bob turn as hismelf, and what? No “Phantoms”? Still, there’s some good choices there. Check it out HERE. The View Askew films are, of course, doing very well in the rankings.

- And more Affleck-related stuff – There’s a wrestler-esque shot of Jennifer Garner as Electra in Daredevil making the rounds, we figured we’d give ya a look at that here.
- Some folks have spotted a Dogma: SE / Memento: SE 2-disc DVD pack at local retail stores. The set’s a hefty $49.99 though, you’d probably do better elsewhere on the discs, still, it’s an interesting team-up of titles there. If you’ve yet to see “Memento”, it comes highly recommended by these two webmasters.
- Online entertainment magazine Flippersmack has a small review of Kevin’s recent night of Q&A on the west coast. Interstingly enough, the Jennifer Lopez casting seems to be becoming closer to official all the time from the sound of it…

- WireImage has a ton of pics from Kevin’s appearance at the Writer’s Guild Theater on May 31st. You’ve gotta register with them to see the full shots, but you get the idea.
- June 1st marked the One Year anniversary of Brian Lynch’s Angry Naked Pat website. During that time, many cool things have happened: the Monkey Man Unleased comic book, Animated Naked Pat, Pat’s Vulgarthon debut, an Entertainment Weekly write-up, and more. Congrats to Lynch and all his cohorts on a job well done. It’ll be interesting to see what they’ve got in store for us in year two.
- Here’s a project that took some time to put together: T.R.A.C.E.R. (aka Timeline Redux: Animated Clerks Event Resource). This guy’s timeline takes the entire events learned from the Clerks cartoon series and puts them in a fun little order of events (all the way back to the 1800’s and into the future). Check it out HERE.
- Chasing Amy got a small mention on Loveline last week, when a comic book inker called into the show: Before mentioning his profession, he started asking host Adam Carolla (of J&SBSB cut scenes fame) if he’d ever seen Chasing Amy, and explained the tracer scene. Adam showed his support for inkers, saying that while he doesn’t like guys who buy comics (doesn’t believe in reading for pleasure), he understands the guys who do it for a living, and also said that inking must take some talent.
- Affleck was spotted with his red Matt Murdock hair on Entertainment Tonight recently, along with an image of him in the Daredevil costume.
