Congratulations to all those involved with “Project Greenlight”! The HBO series received an Emmy nomination in the “Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Reality)” category today.
The trailer for the upcoming Stephen King flick “Dreamcatcher” (directed by Larry Kasdan and featuring Jason Lee) was recently posted on the Cinemovies website, but they seem to be down at the moment. We’re sure it will proliferate around the web, so look for it at all the sites that stock trailers (Zentertainment, Dark Horizons, etc).
In the latest issue of “Powers” from Image comics, there’s a couple of superheroes that get killed who look suspiciously like our favorite Discombobulated Duo. Only they’re called ‘Nickel’ and ‘Dime’. If you’ve got a scan, send it on.
Those Chasing Amy region 2 DVDs have actually been available in the UK through HMV since the 4th of February this year as an ‘HMV Exclusive’ — We thought that whole thing sounded familar…
The weird item of the day — A San Francisco radio station is apparently offering $1000 to any guy who can get an erection in 30 seconds (without touching himself). After the latest contestant failed, they asked him if he wanted to say anything, and he said “I wanna give a shout out to Kevin Smith, director of Mallrats!!” We’re sure Kevin was most thankful.
