The Squirtgun “Fade To Bright” Contest!

  • How’d ya like to win a nice prize pack courtesy of the band that did that rockin’ tune “Social” from the into to Mallrats? Squirtgun, in cooperation with News Askew, would like to give 10 lucky readers a prize pack consisting of their new CD, entitled “Fade To Bright”, and a boatload of other goodies. Prize pack will consist of the following:
  • Squirtgun’s new CD “Fade To Bright”
  • A Mallrats Soundtrack CD SIGNED BY KEVIN SMITH
  • Squirtgun poster SIGNED BY THE BAND
  • Squirtgun T-shirt
    Total Value Of Prize Pack: Approx. $50

Okay, so ya want in? Okey dokey. To enter, all ya gotta do is send an email to scoops@newsaskew.com with the word “SQUIRTGUN” as the subject. In the BODY of the email, include the following: Your full name (first and last) and a return e-mail address we can get back to you at if you’re a winner (even if it’s the same address as your email, let us know).
Please note: Entires that have NO subject, or that have an incorrect subject (for example, “SQUIRTGUN CONTEST ENTRTY” doesn’t work), will be eliminated immediately. In other words, stupid people will be eliminated. Sorry. Be smart.
The only other rule: You can only enter ONCE. If you enter twice, we reserve the right to remove ALL of your entries from the contest. One entry per person, please. Let’s give everyone an equal chance. Good luck!
The deadline for e-mail entries is 11:59 PM on Thursday, July 31st, 2003. Winners will be announced on or before August 4, 2003. All winners will be notified and announced by name on this site. 10 winners chosen at random will then receive a prize pack direct from the band.

  • Apparently Jay & Silent Bob get a very strange mention in this BBSpot Top 11 countdown: “Movies Based on Shakira’s Ass”.
  • Apparently in the new Xbox game “Brute Force”, a character called Tank sings “Berserker”. Huh. How about that. The video review of the game at TechTV has the evidence. Oh, and yes, we’ve spent some time playing the game itself…And it’s BAD. It’s no HALO, that’s for sure. Catch ya at the next one, folks.
