IT seems we’re not the only fans of Kevin Smith’s college-lecture DVD, in which the director devotes a full 10 minutes to discussing PAGE SIX’s coverage of his feud with “Planet of the Apes” helmer Tim Burton. DVDBears.com, a Web site written by gay guys with a fetish for large, hairy men, gives a big thumbs up to “An Evening With Kevin Smith” and raves about the burly auteur’s “cute smile, and that cute beard . . . he is quite the bear.” Not that the anonymous reviewer doesn’t think the heterosexual director of the upcoming Ben Affleck/Jennifer Lopez flick “Jersey Girl” couldn’t use a makeover from the swishy style mavens of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” Smith “needs to learn how to dress,” says the reviewer. “Sure he might be comfortable in his sweat suit baggy outfit, but he needs to wear something a little different every now and then . . . if you’re going to talk dirty, then dress dirty.”

Wizard: Rumor has it that your Daredevil arc might actually be your plot for the second film.
Smith: Both Ben [Affleck] and Mark [Steven Johnson] have asked me about writing the next one. I don’t know. It’d be one thing if I only had to please Ben and Mark, but you have to deal with Marvel, Regency and Fox. I’d rather just kick back and watch somebody else try to make sense of my stuff.

Q: …after seeing you do a cameo in JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK, would you like to work with Kevin Smith again?
SWS: I’d love to work with Kevin again. That was so much fun. I was really nervous. I had this idea of what I wanted to do, and Kevin made it really easy. It was two of the best days I’ve had shooting a movie.
Q: Have you ever spoken about doing anything together?
SWS: I’ve brought it up to him [Laughs]. We’ll see.
