- Howdy folks, we’re back with a Monday update after a very hectic, busy Superbowl weekend. But what a game, huh? Finally an interesting one to watch for a change. Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. Things are picking up here, with Jersey Girl just over a month away, so when all that press starts, watch this site come to life as we try to track it all! It’s gonna be a busy, fun couple of months here at News Askew.
With the Oscars coming up, and so many good films this year, that should also prove to be another interesting broadcast event. Theron’s performance in “Monster†is certainly bound to win, though the film itself wasn’t quite as special as it’s been marketed. One of the best surprises of the year is “21 Gramsâ€, a fantastically filmed, acted, and edited film that mixes up the timeline to an incredible degree, but still packs a great punch when it all comes together. See this one.
