  • Sorry to say, it looks like the upgrade to the talkback system wasn’t foolproof, thus, those of you who haven’t yet re-reigstered since the crash a week or so ago will need to do so again to get your account back. We know, it’s a pain, and we’re sorry, but it’ll only take you around a minute, it’s free, and we’re sure (well, PRETTY sure, anyway) that it won’t happen again. So, please surf over to any TalkBack page you want, click the REGISTER tab, and get your account set back up again if you’d like to do some chatting, either now or somewhere down the line. Thanks for your patience with us as we continue to iron out the bugs in the new system.

  • Antony’s brilliant Jersey Girl coverage for MoviePoopShoot has come to a close, but he didn’t want to part without a few final words,
and, also, some never before seen photos from behind the scenes. Surf over to the ‘Shoot to check them out in the full-sized glory. Antony, we’re sure
we speak for everyone when we say that it’s been a pleasure reading your columns over the past year.

  • Here’s your first look at the new View Askew logo t-shirts, from the latest edition of Diamond Previews. The Logo II shirt comes on a very
lovely graphite shirt and ranges from $17.95 to $20.95. We’ll let you know when the Stash has them available for ya.
  • Kevin gets a kind name drop at this ESPN Page Two article, when the author
finds Clerks on HBO rather than his beloved Sopranos show.
  • Anyone who pays to see “Raising Helen” (opening this week) at Hoyt’s cinemas in Australia will
receive a Buy One Get One Free ticket for Jersey Girl, opening there on August 12th.
  • Dogma is again getting name dropped in articles regarding the
Weinstein’s help in picking up Michael Moore’s Farenheit 9/11.
