• We’d just like to take a quick moment to wish our readers a very Happy Thanksgiving today. We hope you’re doing something fun to mark the day, whether it be a good meal, spending time with family and friends, or just relaxing and remembering all the good things in like that you have to be thankful for. After all, you’ve got an internet connection!

We’re hoping you’ll also take a moment to reflect on those less fortunate in the world who might not get a meal today — It really makes you appreciate everything that you have all the more. And of course, let’s not forget the brave men and women of our armed services fighting overseas who don’t have the luxury of spending today with their loved ones. Thanks for all of the sacrifices that you make for our country.

We’ll have some newsbites on the way later today, by the way — But a quick hit for the moment. The Tonight Show’s website reports Kevin will be a guest TOMORROW (November 24th). We assume he’ll be on board to promote the release of the new DVDs and the signing next week. We’ll be back later!

• Just a reminder that if you have the means to make it, this Tuesday, November 28th represents a fantastic opportunity to get a bunch of Christmas shopping done for that View Askew fanboy or fangirl in your life. Kevin will be on hand at Stash Westwood, along with Jason Mewes, Jeff Anderson and Trevor Fehrman (stars of Clerks II and Now You Know) for a HUGE DVD signing party. All you need to do is show up in line and buy a copy of Now You Know at the Stash (though we’re guessing you’ll want to buy all three discs). You can get up to FIVE ITEMS signed and personalized for you or for the lucky person you’re giving stuff to as a gift. This represents a great chance for a personalized Christmas gift that they’re sure to love. Plus, pick up some great swag for yourself and meet some of the biggest celebs in the Askewniverse while you’re at it. This is sure to be a big event, and kicks off at 4 PM THIS TUESDAY. Get there early to secure a place in line, as it’s possible there could be a cutoff. Get there!

• The Tonight Show website reports that Kevin will be a guest on Friday, November 24th (tomorrow!). It’s a new episode according to the schedule, so we’re figuring he’ll give a mention of Clerks II, Evening Harder, and Now You Know on DVD, perhaps bring a clip along. And we’re betting he might even mention that big Stash Signing next week as well. Don’t miss it!

• And yes, our friends from our own News Askew Forums (NAF) have struck again! This from the west coast events a few weeks ago…They got Ming!

• Blast from the past noticed from one of our scoopers while playing Postal Apocalypse — News Askew is buried in the game, and we totally forgot about it! Check out this screenshot. And thanks again to Mike over at Running With Scissors for sticking us in there back then.
• Sam, A View Askew board member, lets us know that there’s an appearance by the Clerks Dante inaction figure in his latest short film, available on YouTube. Dante first appears at around 3:56 into the film.
