  • So where you gonna be on Wednesday, June 27th? Well, in a movie theater seat watching “Live Free or Die Hard”, right? The promotions for the flick have been pitch perfect, showing just enough of those major action set pieces, and some of the best John McClane quips we’ve ever heard. Sure, the flick’s got a PG-13 rating, previously unheard of for a Die Hard, though we hear this one pushes that rating real far — Heck, we’re guessing that an “unrated” cut has to exist somewhere, the flick was likely done with both R and PG-13 cuts in mind. EW recently voted the original Die Hard the best action flick of all time, and who’s to blame them? Personally I can remember Die Hard as one of the movies I just HAD to own on VHS back in the day at any cost, and I wore that tape down with way too many viewings.

So, all that said, the fact that Kevin’s now a part of this universe with his role in the new “Die Hard” is super-cool for big fans of the franchise, as we are. With promotions kicking into high gear, Kevin had the chance to sit down for a brand new chat with star Bruce Willis on the Fox lot, and Apple’s got it for ya — A 3+ quickly edited piece of conversation along with more of that trademark Die Hard action. Surf on over and watch two guys from Jersey hang out…and talk about one of the greatest action movie franchises of our time. It’s too bad it didn’t run longer, though we’re holding out hope for an extended cut of this segment on the eventual DVD.

  • Ever been to The Burgg? It’s a website where users can contribute their own quick little sketches inspired by their favorite films — Do some searching and you’ll see user entries from Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma, and more.
  • The folks over at Film 411 say Clerks II gets even BETTER the more you view it. We couldn’t agree more.
  • Bebo is an online fan community for stuff folks love — A new Kevin Smith bebo has popped up which will include photos, videos, discussions, and more. Could it be the next Myspace? Ya never know.
