Let’s kick off this weekend edition of News Askew with just-in “Zack & Miri” casting news from Kevin. The contract for Zack has been closed. So, the actor is now officially cast. However, Kevin’s not ready to announce it just yet. Could he possibly be waiting for their Miri, who has yet to close on HER contract? Quite possibly. Let’s hope this one stays quiet until Kevin announces, and doesn’t make its way out thru Variety or something. These things tend to show up quick in the trades, so we’re betting that sometime next week, probably early, we’ll at least know who Zack is, once and for all! Speculation in the News Askew mailbox has been at an all-time high, though we’re saving the guesses for the true announcement. Stay close to your computers or RSS feeds, folks.

Why not just tell people who is it? I mean its not like this is some top secret earth changing movie. 2 people make some homemade porn and sell it- wow a crazy original idea!! Seth Rogen would be a great male lead but I don’t see him meshing well with Kevin, because Seth likes to improvise and Kevin is gods gift to writing, or so he thinks. I used to be a big fan of Kevin’s but he is just a luck hack who wrote one funny script. When is his 15 minutes up? Its been like forever.
