- In a little under three weeks, you will no longer live in a world that is deprived of SModcast Internet Radio (S.I.R.)! The new official countdown page lets you watch the seconds tick off, as we approach a major milestone — The birth of a brand new, 24-hour podcasting network. Just a few tidbits on the network over the last few days — First up, Scott and Kevin are considering making SModcast a LIVE weekly event, every Sunday, where you’ll get your brand new episode live, as it’s recorded. Also, Kevin has confirmed that the “History of Miramax” show with Jon Gordon is a go, and should be appearing on SIR in month one. Lots more to come, of course.
We’re thinking that SIR will be a lot like SModcastle and its programming, where shows will get tested out, and come and go as the schedule takes shape. Plus, with 24 hours of programming, lots of new experiments and concepts as well. It all starts on Monday, May 9th.
