- After a week of awesome fill-in work by Ming, Bryan Johnson, Walt Flanagan, Dan Etheridge and friends, Kevin’s back stateside for a brand new week of live SModcast Internet Radio, starting tomorrow at 11 AM EST / 8 AM PST! With such a major success of the fill-in shows, we’re betting on some new regular blocks to be announced on the channels anytime now, adding to the 4 we’re getting every Monday thru Friday. And really, that’s always been the business model of SMod, as well, and it’s worked out great. Start with a show or two, find the footing, see what works, and expand.
Where’s Kevin been? Well, in case ya missed the news recently, “Red State” screened in Sicily, Italy as part of the Taromina Film Festival over the weekend, and played really well:

Great news there, for sure, and a good sign you’ll start seeing “Red” show up at other locations across the globe. And yes, UK fans, that includes you — Kevin tells us that you’ll see the film (along with a live road show, we’re expecting, featuring Kevin and co.) THIS FALL. He might even bring some Live SMOD over there including the great Ralph Garman (see how we brought it full circle there?).
So what else might interest you from the world of SMod, you may ask? SModCost, for one thing — Rumor has it that they’ve been quietly shooting HEAPS of exclusive video content as part of the service already, which will only be available to subscribers of the service. Best of all, it’s dirt cheap, at just $25 to kick off membership (which comes with a goody bag worth more than the cost) and a mere 5 bucks monthly. All starting this July.
