• In case you’ve been missing out on the saga, MOVIES ASKEW (yes, that big link at the top of our page), is in full swing, with the first round of entries now part of our growing history. Kevin has watched the TOP 5 from round 1, and placed comments at the MOVIES ASKEW SITE:

	Fingers – “This reminded me of the kind of short films I watched relentlessly before I got up the cuts to write “Clerks.” Good, original stuff.”
	Going Down – “This adheres to the classic short film structure of set-up and massive punchline. Funny, funny stuff.”
	Back to Reality – “Beautifully lensed with strong performances. Great talent on display.”
	Coyote – “If you don’t laugh out loud at least twice during this flick, there’s something wrong with you. This is some antic, hysterical stuff.”
	Loveholstery – “Stick with this short and you will NOT be disappointed. This is twisted, naughty fun.”

Remember!!! Just because your short was not chosen for the final 5 does not mean it still does not have a chance! You can Lobby your short in the Life Boat section of the forum for votes and or you can resubmit for Round 2!

There’s heaps to do including a forum, filmmaker bios, and, oh yeah — You can WATCH all 5 of these wonderfully creative submissions from the comfort of your own computer chair. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker or just a fan of film in general, this project is not to be missed. Every member of the site has their chance to vote for their favorties every month.
