- Michael Moore’s controversial new film ‘Fahrenheit 9/11′ premiered at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science in Beverly Hills, California last night, and Kevin was on hand to check out the film. We’ve got photos up above (the first expands into a very high-resolution shot directly from AP, the rest are courtesy WireImage and thus you’ll need a subscription to see them in their full-screen glory). Looks like a very star-studded crew was on hand for this one.
At the premiere, Kevin was interviewed and then quoted in this MTV News story:
“I like his stuff, and a chance to see it early and see it for free? Count me in,” said director Kevin Smith (”Mallrats,” “Clerks”), one of the few who talked to reporters, adding that the film is being released at a bad time for Bush. “It seems like so many people are waiting to see an administration change that you don’t even need this film to push it over the edge.”
Good for you, Kev – Don’t shun the press like so many of those other fearful folks!
