- There’s quite a few early reviews of the new Cameron Crowe flick “Vanilla Sky” featuring Tom Cruise and our boy Jason Lee over at AICN today. Most seem quite positive and a few may contain spoilers. So if you’ve never seen the original “Abre los ojos”, or want to avoid any knowledge, read them at your own risk!
- Every month, Spin Magazine assigns different symbols to represent different rankings for their cd review section. This month Silent Bob is used for #7. Some other notable characters are Flavor Flav at #9 and Sancho Panza at #10.
- Afroman’s making the rounds on Australia radio. ‘Because I Got High’ has been playing on the alternative youth station Triple J. It first started being played last Wednesday night, and has been a daily fixture ever since. You can even vote for it on their weekly Net 50 Show. Also, the song is only ever so slightly edited.
- DVD Easter Eggs has posted a page for the now infamous “A Better Place” DVD.
- There’s a 2 page interview in the latest issue of the UK mens magazine Arena (with covergirl Eva Herzigova) He talks homophobia, Magnolia, Reese Witherspoon, his favorite expletive and the gets in a word or too about J&SBSB.
- Jason Mewes made it into the current issue of US Weekly under their “Fashion Police” section where they pick their worst dressed and critique what they are wearing. Check it out above.
- Good news for Australian fans. After the less than stellar “Chasing Amy” DVD release a while back, it looks like “Clerks” will get the 5-star treatment. Features include: Cast/Crew Bios, Deleted Scenes, Scene Selection, and the Theatrical Trailer. The disc will sell for about $35, and there’s nothing about whether it’ll be widescreen or pan and scan.
