- We’re running this as just a newsbite even though it got a lot of notice today: IGN reports that Green Arrow is on the fast track to be turned into a movie, as a screenplay is close to development. Producer Bill Todman, Jr. was quoted as saying that while no current screenwriter has been attached, that Kevin Smith is “always a possibilityâ€. You never know, but given the quote from Kevin in a recent interview that he’s not very interesting in working on comic book films anymore, coupled with the fact that a similar story broke when Daredevil took off regarding a movie when its sales rose, this one’s likely to come and go. Like we said though, ya never know.
