By the way, coincidentally, Express.com, who were previously offering the ABP DVD deal (but no longer), declared Chapter 11 yesterday and laid off almost their entire staff. Yikes! • An anonymous source sent us a few close-up shots of Affleck and crew on the set of “The Sum Of All Fears” in Canada from a couple weeks back. They were taken at Mirabelle airport near Montreal, and at St.Jean-Sur-Richelou, an old militarybase outside of Montreal. Shooting of the film continues in Canada, though no futher set details or release information has been leaked on the flick lately. Affleck’s certainly been keeping busy and working on a lot of flicks, though, that’s for sure. All the pics do enlarge, by the way, just click on ‘em.

• For those of you keeping track of Matt & Ben’s Project Greenlight, Zentertainment reports:

• Speaking of Affleck, he’s featured on the cover of the new Newsweek, which features a story on the upcoming Pearl Harbor. The only question is, will the flick take in as much as The Mummy Returns did last weekend? Our coverage of the film here, which will surely have a TON of press, will be limited due to all the other stuff going on more closely relating to View Askew.
• In the liner notes of the new album by Blues Traveler, “Bridges” (which comes out this week,) buried in the middle of the ‘thank you’ section, it reads:

• All this month the Emerald Theater in Mt. Clemens, Michigan is showing one of the View Askew film every Wednesday night. Last Wednesday was Dogma, this Wednesday is Clerks, next Wednesdat is Chasing Amy, and the following Wednesday is Mallrats. The shows all start at 9 PM (they’re also showing an episode of Clerks TCS before each of the movies, by the way). Tickets are only $2. More info can be found HERE.
