- indieWire reports that Lions Gate will platform release “VULGAR” next summer, starting in New York, LA and, of course, Red Bank, NJ. We assume that, depending on how those releases fare, the flick will go wider from there. No word yet on what cuts, if any, the film will require to receive an “R” rating, as we assume they’ll shoot for, but chances are some changes are gonna be needed. Too bad we won’t get a chance to see the film at Vulgarthon this year, as it would have been nice to catch it uncut as well as a great “test screening” of sorts with a very intrigued audience. Any chance of reconsidering, Lions Gate?
