- Sorry to post this here, but I figured this was the best way to reach a lot of folks fast and I’m not sure where else to turn. My girlfriend who, as some of you know, currently lives in Canada, is looking to move down here with me this summer. I’m aware that there are all kinds of lotteries and paperwork and stuff that has to go in very early in order for someone to establish residency in the country, but, even after extensive web searches, I can’t seem to find the information I’m looking for. I’m hoping that it’s easy to immigrate to the US from Canada, but I could be wrong. Anyway, if there are any lawyers or legal/immigration experts out there that could drop me a line, I’d really appreciate any information that I can get. Thanks for your time and sorry to throw this into the mix of News Askew.
