- Here’s some big news for today — Kevin and Jay will be BACK in two episodes for the next season of Degrassi: The Next Generation! This is the first we’ve heard of the gig, which differs from the Degrassi FILM Kevin is hoping to direct (currently searching for a studio home). The New York Daily News reports:
Smith and Mewes are due back in Canada next week to start working on two more episodes of “Degrassi,†which will air during the fifth season that starts in October. And Schuyler and Smith are collaborating on a “Degrassi†feature film, which has yet to find a studio home.
Judging from the newsbite above, we’re guessing they’ll be back early in the season, though perhaps not right at the start. Stay tuned, this one’s still hot off the coals.
